Located in the heart of the U of M campus, The Dinkytowner Cafe furnishes food, beer, wine, entertainment, coffee and late hours for those cramming for exams. Although open every day for breakfast, it's the nighttime when the Dinkytowner shines. Wednesdays through Saturdays, DJs spin discs as diverse as their clientele, offering different theme nights ranging from world music, hip-hop, techno and beyond. On Thursdays, the best area instrumental bands provide the soundtrack for "Crossfaded," playing freestyle jams with avant-garde cinema in the background.
