Offering music programs for beginners to advanced students of violin, viola, cello, bass, classical guitar, and ensemble performance with The Twin Cities String Ensemble, or the Bloomington String Ensemble. The Twin Cities String Ensemble is for early beginners of all ages, and offers students opportunity for performance experience very early on. Playing in an ensemble helps students to gain confidence, and also helps to develop skills needed to go on to higher level orchestras. The Twin Cities String Ensemble gives two performances each year. The Bloomington String Ensemble is for intermediate to advanced players, and players of any age. These ensembles are a stepping stone to higher orchestras, or for the student or player who cannot make a large commitment to another orchestra, but wants to develop skills and practice playing with others. Sharon Dee also offers a summer program in Fiddling. Please refer to website for more information.
