Melissa Calusio in one of the most popular professional harpists in Texas. She has been performing at weddings, receptions, formal parties, concerts, gallery openings, corporate events, grand openings and other special events for over 11 years.
Melissa began playing the harp at age 14. Currently, Melissa is enjoying a varied career as a freelance solo harpist. She is also the founder and owner of Calusio Creativity Center, Austin Texas largest private music school.
She has been featured in both radio and television broadcasts. She is a former Mrs. Austin and Miss Texas finalist.
She is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy. She holds a BA in Music from the University of Texas at Austin in Harp Performance. She is member of several national and local harp societies such as the American Harp Society. |
