j.a.w., a dynamic 5-piece ska/punk/alternative band burst onto Minnesota's local music scene in early 2003. The brainchild of Jeremy Braband, Rob George, and Joe Lencioni, Just Add Water originally consisted of Braband on bass, George on guitar, Lencioni on vocals and John Foderick on drums. Soon thereafter, Dave Baldes was added on trumpet and back-up vocals. The boys played their first show in late January, at ::Rock Trinity 2003:: in Milaca, Mn.

Shortly after the first show, John was relieved of his drumming duties [because he lived 3 hours away] and Josh Carlson was added to complete the band's current line-up. From there, j.a.w. has continued to grow their fan-base and spread the good word of rock through their original catchy blend of ska, punk, and alternative rock.
