BEAT THE BONE

BTB was formed by brothers Lew and Ray Nottke. They have managed to create their own style of
rock that is tough to categorize. Hailing from San Bernardino, the trio has caught the ears & eyes of
many people. They are a tough act to beat, being recognized by promoters & all who hear them. In
the November 08, 1999 issue of Music Connection BTB was reviewed and MC quoted It’s clear
this is a band that knows how to put their music together with a powerful yet controlled intensity.
The San Bernardino County Sun reviewed them live and said BTB owned the stage with a great
sound & competent musicianship. Jace Edwards of KCAL 96.7 had this to say about them.
The Opening act was Beat The Bone if you ever get a chance to see these guys, do it! Jace said that for a 3 piece band they carry the sound a lot further than you'd think. Incredible guitar skills!

They are played on X103.9 FM. They recently did a southwestern tour opening for Iron Maiden, Queensryche & Rob Halford. They have also opened for many national acts including Brother Cane, Jackyl, L.A. Guns, Mr. Big, Gene Loves Jezebel, Dokken and Warrant. The live shows are packed with contagious energy and the band is always greeted by fans asking for CD’s, T-shirts and autographs.

Beat the Bone is a metal band along the lines of Godsmack, Disturbed and Drowning Pool (all these bands are Platinum acts) and BTB would be highly successful if given the chance. Beat The Bone are a local favorite and are highly talked about in the Inland Empire. They will work extremely hard and do whatever it takes to make BTB a success.

BTB is heavy and melodic, appealing to music lovers across the board. They are the future of Rock.
