Established in 1963, the Minnesota Police Pipe Band (formerly Minnesota Pipes & Drums) has been entertaining Twin Cities audiences with Highland piping and drumming for nearly 40 years. The Minnesota Police Pipe Band is a certified non-profit organization with an all-volunteer membership that now tops 60 voting members and students. Piping and drumming lessons are free. The band is honored to serve as the official Minnesota Emerald Society pipe and drum corps, serving the needs of the police community throughout the state.
