Laughing Bell is composed of four individuals with an objective to compose and perform music that they feel is worthwhile. Formed in a local venue in the summer of 2004 in Eau Claire, WI, Laughing Bell continues to write, perform and record music in the city of Minneapolis, MN.

Laughing Bells music has been described as progressive and experimental in nature. Over time the music they make has evolved into something completely unexpected. They began to travel a decidedly different musical path in the months following the release of their debut record. Their hope is that their music will continue to progress as the members challenge themselves musically.

After a year of writing, performing, exploring, and an extended transitional period of moves and changes, the band recently began the recording process for their second release: One Morning in the Year 1983
