Out of the Silent Planet was formed by accident during the winter of 2006. Inspired by The Beauty Universal, their first performance consisted of Ace Waters III on piano, Jake Rasp on guitar, and Tyler H. Sevlie on synth, with drum loops courtesy of Jeffrey Bartlett. It was a surprisingly enjoyable experience, and when a second chance to play arose, the band rose to the challenge. Emboldened by their first success, they recruited Jeffrey Bartlett and Christian Siebert for Drum and Bass duty, respectivly. Their debut show as Out of the Silent Planet was a minor success, and the buzz among the band began to grow. A successful summer show at the Fallout Art Fest that occured against all odds solidified the belief that maybe something more was at stake.

Currently, Out Of The Silent Planet is rehearsing for their upcoming demo CD, which will include Art is a Stranger and To See With Eyes Unclouded, and hopefully at least one other song that can tie together the disparate styles of the other two.
