The leader of Burnt Brownies, Brent Brown, has been in music the age of 3. Piano jolted him into an early understanding of theory.
At the age of 8 he was the youngest member ever allowed into the international competing Blue Star Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. In High School he wrote a paper and gave a speach to the school board, convincing them to fill his 4 credits of foriegn laguage requirements with music. After high school he attended UW-LaCrosse and studied music. He is now a music instructor at Leithold's Music Center in La Crosse. The band itself is as free as the music which they create, with many members that continue to come and go. The core group consist of Brent Brown, guitar and vocals, Kari Brown, vocals, Neil Relic, Drums, Andrew Steeno, Bass, Dan Dreisen, guitar, Adam Palm, trombone, Kevin Klemme, trumpet, Steve Hultz, bari&alto sax, Devin Freeman alto&tenor sax, and Ben Peterson, alto&Tenor sax. With Brent's truly unique original music, and this incredible mixture of instructors and musical degrees, you are sure to be impressed and suprised.
