The six musicians involved in White Elephant employ voices,
samples,synthesizers, guitars, a drum kit,
and a plethora of percussion. Lance W. Conrad, White Elephant's originator
and composer, experimentally involves styles of prog rock, indie, pop, and
electronica to achieve what some have referred to as a deconstructive,
satyrical, and self-aware approach to musicwith a focus on the 'roll' mood
of rock and roll. Lance W Conrad is a producer and an audio engineer
whose background includes experience and accomplishments in ballet, modern
dance, comedy theater, popular and classical music, and disc jockeying.

The primary intention of White Elephant's live performance is to act as
the sound score to an ongoing work of multimedia vaudeville shows.
Together with Lance W Conrad's comedy company Now, modern dancer and
choreographer Hannah Kramer, and various other artists ranging from
puppeteers to film composers, these vaudeville shows present evenings of
exhilarating avant garde exploration of what, and where, art can be.
