Jami Marie was created to perform.
She came into this world a pisces, in
the late 70's.
At age 4 Jami began piano and dance
lessons. She knew from the start
that she loved the stage. So
throughout her childhood she would
act in local commercials and plays.
Jami would sing and dance in fairs,
talent shows, and pageants and she
also modeled in both print and
runway.

Jami Marie wrote her first song at
only age 8. Over the years she would
continue to write many more.

Jami began performing her music
live in her late teens. Realizing that
she needed a accompaniment, Jami
self-taught herself guitar.

Jami has played at music festivals in
both Iowa and New Mexico. Jami has
also played at coffee houses such as
Java Joes, in Ocean Beach, San
Diego, CA.

Jami Marie danced as the Ocean Goddess in Lollapolooza 03, in both Chicago and
San Diego.
It was during this time that she was also interviewed in the Oct. 03 issue of the
Surfrider Foundation magazine, Making Waves.

Jami recorded her first self-release in 04, the 1st Session, under the pseudonym,
Wave.
Jami has played at all the music venues in Iowa City.
She is currently recording her first major self-release; a combination of folk, pop,
