As time progresses on...the variety of new music narrows and the remnants of rock and roll continue to be pushed out of the mainstream. But alas! Rising from the ashes is a beacon of hope for those who have not forgotten what it means to rock. That beacon is The Golden Chariots of Mars, an original rock quartet from the barren tundra of Minnesota, a young band that refuses to restrict themselves to the usual scripts and equations of today's prefabricated sound. The Golden Chariots of Mars are a rock group who incorporate beautiful and sometimes eerie melodies with heavy and solid rhythms. They have composed over 60 original songs. While known as The Sonicads and then Hollow Earth, (a couple of their former names) they attracted decent sized audiences at various metro venues including The Fine Line. The band has a loyal and continuely growing fanbase. The band includes singer Catie Larson, Craig Larson on drums, bassist Sarah Brown and guitar player Joe Klous. |
