The Ultraviolet Fuzz is a psychedelic indie-pop trio that hails from Minneapolis, MN. Influences include such classics as Sgt. Pepper-era Beatles and Pet Sounds-era Beach Boys, as well as more modern The Stone Roses and Olivia Tremor Control. The band was formed in late 2004 by Freddy Hanson and Lane Trisko, who had played together in various bands while in high school years earlier. The pair invited Jesse Miller to join March 2005 and the trio immediately clicked; they recorded their first demo during their second ever practice as a band. Playing their first gigs billed as 'Rats With Razorblades Instead of Wings' and 'Nova Lovechild,' The Ultraviolet Fuzz is currently distributing their 3-song demo, self-producing their debut album and performing live in the Minneapolis area.
