[camp surreal] has a goal. the goal to create a musical story with climaxes of the highest potential of energy, emotion, and power, possible. we all know that in stories, there are no verses; there are no choruses. you may see forshadowing, but you do not watch scene one, view scene two, and then scene one again. it progresses, and that is what we work to accomplish - though, sometimes other formats sneak in to keep some form of consistency and sanity.

this is history...jason lee formed [camp surreal] with agent mickey in july of the year 2000. not long after, they were accompanied by scott cook, who joined them on temporary employment. mr. cook left his duties in december of the year 2000. (he can now be found playing bass in amp 176). at this time, jason lee and mickey began their search once again for new members. it did not take long for them to find the right people. steve brooks and jason fox became agents of [camp surreal] in december of 2000, just moments before the new millennium began. fox took care of the low end and definition, and agent brooks took care of giving the sound more rock with his trusty left handed guitars. the rest of the story is the future...
