Described by critics as world class, Voice Trek is known for their superb vocal blend and harmonies, as well as their creative musical arrangements. Originating in 1987, this quintet is a well-respected ingredient in the Minnesota music scene and is comprised of the five original members: Shelley, Vicki, & Rae Plaster, Denis Allaire, and Kevin Smith.

This family of singers presents concerts from Minnesota to Montreux (Switzerland), both with a back up quartet as well as singing a cappella. In March 2001, VT won the prestigious HARMONY SWEEPSTAKES CHAMPIONSHIP in the Chicago Region and was voted audience favorite as well as 1st runner up at the National Championship in California. In April 2005, Voice Trek became winners of the 2005-06 McKnight Artist Fellowship for Performing Musicians administered by MacPhail Center for Music. Summer 2005 lauches their newest CD, An Acappella Trek!
