We are determined to create and produce new works of theatre that are smart, ballsy, and fundamentally entertaining. The Flower Shop Project was established in 2004 as a culmination of our shared artistic history and vision. We wish to fill a void in the Twin Cities theater community by providing a venue for original, local works of theater. Our goal is to produce original scripts from within the company, as well as to solicit and produce scripts from other local playwrights, with a focus on out state Minnesota, as it is our belief that there is a great deal of talent beyond the Twin Cities that should be provided an outlet. The Flower Shop Project company members have a long history of artistic collaboration dating from a common college experience. The company name is an acknowledgement of the roots of our theatrical beginnings and the deep friendship that grew from it.
