Sam Keenan has written, self-recorded and self-published several albums, demos, and EPs over the last decade. His latest release titled “After Grey”, a slightly twisted pop journey, was a sharp turn from the previous “Electric Owl” sessions, an experiment with electronic textures and programmed drums. Throughout his career, He has released many acoustic and lo-fi demo recordings that most songwriters would shy away from sharing. “...it’s either get them out, or I have to watch them rot and die in a notebook.”-he admitted unapologetically. He had a long run performing and recording his material with a band called Liquid Ernie for the 2nd half of the 1990’s. Together they released “Spit and Polish”, a 17-song earful, “Ghostwritten”, a 6-song EP, and several live sessions. Keenan has since been performing solo and continues to turn out material at what must be an unhealthy pace.
